Guide to resorts in Cyprus: Ayia Napa
Ayia Napa is a well-kept holiday resort with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. It is a good example of a lively resort with excellent nightlife set in a naturally beautiful setting.
A fascinating and adventurous trip
A fascinating Marine Life Museum has recently opened in Ayia Napa, the first of its kind in Cyprus.
The museum houses exhibits of past and present marine life, designed to inform the visitor of the rich and varied marine fauna of Cyprus and the Mediterranean. A seaside promenade connecting the harbour with major hotels has recently been constructed.
The Ayia Napa Traditional Country House Museum is also now fully operational and, dominating the centre of Ayia Napa, is the Medieval Monastery and church.
